Dvanaesto izdanje Zagreb International Blues festivala će se održati od 8. do 12. lipnja 2021., kada će u pet festivalskih dana na tri zagrebačke lokacije nastupiti ukupno devet vrhunskih blues izvođača. Festival počinje u utorak, 8.6. u Hard Placeu, a večer je posvećena osnivaču Hrvatskih blues snaga, nažalost prerano preminulom Draženu Buhinu Buhi. U programu “Blues for You – Tribute to Buha” nastupit će sastavi Ben Dover, Sunnysiders i Bugi GeorgeV.
Druga festivalska večer (srijeda, 9.6., Močvara) je rezervirana za koncert na kojem će svirati Lela & Joe Kaplowitz te zagrebački kantautor Zvonimir Varga.
U četvrtak, 10. lipnja, u sportskoj dvorani osnovne škole Cvjetno naselje održat se već tradicionalna radionica “Blues in the School”, namijenjena glazbenoj edukaciji mladih.
Dan kasnije (petak, 11.6.), Zagreb International Blues Festival se vraća u Hard Place, gdje će svoje blues umijeće pokazati Tony Lee King, dobitnik godišnje nagrade Hrvatskih blues snaga za povijesni doprinos hrvatskoj blues sceni, a svoj singl prvijenac “Born to Be Free” će promovirati sastav Veni Vidi Whiskey iz Kotoribe.
Završna večer festivala (Močvara, subota, 12.6.) rezervirana je za dvostruku live promociju novih blues albuma hrvatskih bluesera! Svoj drugi studijski album “Our Songs” će prezentirati zagrebački americana blues sastav BE HA VE, a aktualni pobjednici Croatian Blues Challengea, Bok Blues će svirati pjesme s debitantskog albuma “Memphis Insight”.
Hrvatske blues snage, Dobri duh rock’n’rolla i Spona Vas pozivaju na 12th Zagreb International Blues Festival – pet dana dobre zabave uz vrhunski blues!
Svi koncerti počinju u 20:00 sati a ulaz je besplatan. Također, koncerti će se održati uz poštivanje svih aktualnih epidemioloških mjera.
