Priznati američki filmski redatelj, Quentin Tarantino, vrsni je glazbeni znalac, što nam je toliko puta pokazao u svojim ranijim projektima. Ne čudi, stoga, da se soundtrack za njegov najnoviji film “Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood” podjednako iščekivao kao i sam film.
Osobni odabran od strane redatelja, ovaj soundtrack je ljubavno pismo glazbenoj eri ’60-tih. Posrijedi je iznimna kolekcija pjesama, koja oblikuje vremensku kapsulu zlatne ere filmske i glazbene industrije. Od izvođača tu su: Neil Diamond, Deep Purple, Paul Revere & The Raiders, Simon and Garafunkel, Bob Seger i mnogi drugi.
Budući da je Quentin Tarantino izuzetan ljubitelj i kolekcionar vinila, osim na CD formatu, planira se da ovaj album filmske glazbe bude objavljen i na vinilu. I to u nekoliko specijalnih edicija LP ploča, pri čemu će svaka sadržavati specijalne bonuse, kao i postere iz filma.
Tarantinov “Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood” vraća nas u 1969. godinu u Los Angeles u vrijeme kada se sve mijenja pa i filmska industrija, a glavni junaci, nekadašnja TV zvijezda Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) i Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt), pokušavaju se snaći u novonastaloj situaciji…
